Aaron has more than 25 years of experience providing financial guidance to individuals, families, and businesses. He understands the financial planning and investment management process can be confusing and complex. Aaron takes the time to learn his clients’ unique stories, so he can help develop customized strategies and portfolios to pursue their individual goals.
Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Psychology from Webster University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. He holds Series 7, 9 & 10, 24, 63, and 66 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses, and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.
In his free time, Aaron enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and Whidbey Island with his wife and their five children. He previously coached youth and high school sports and served on the Executive Board of Central Whidbey Little League, in addition to supporting other local organizations. When he’s not enjoying athletics or the outdoors, Aaron is an avid reader.
Kurt has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry and devotes himself to Terra Firma’s mission of helping clients implement investment plans in pursuit of their financial goals.
Kurt graduated from Western Illinois University and holds Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses. He has always had a strong interest in Economics and History and enjoys applying those passions to investing.
Kurt and his wife, Patrice, have four grown children and enjoy the great outdoors, including gardening, hiking, kayaking, and crabbing.
Dane is a financial advisor focused on helping individuals and families build wealth management strategies tailored to their goals. Prior to joining Terra Firma Wealth Management, he spent two years working in operations at Stifel Independent Advisors, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Dane’s experience gave him a deep understanding of the industry from the inside out – knowledge he now brings to working directly with clients.
Dane works with a wide range of clients, from business owners and retirees to families and individuals preparing for life’s next chapter. His approach emphasizes comprehensive planning that includes retirement planning, estate planning strategies, risk mitigation, and real-life goals.
A graduate of Washington State University, Dane earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Economic Sciences and in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, as well as life and variable insurance licenses.
Outside the office, Dane lives in Coupeville with his wife, Hope. He enjoys spending time outdoors in the Pacific Northwest, traveling to new places, playing golf and recreational sports like softball and pickleball, and winding down with movies, TV, and books.
Fred, as a financial advisor, focuses on helping individuals and families create wealth management strategies that are specifically designed to address their unique financial goals. Fred has been an integral member of the Terra Firma Wealth Management team since 2022, and spent his first three years in operational support, and serving as our “IT guy.” Fred has experience working as an accountant in the U.S. Army after high school, as well as several years of management experience in the restaurant industry.
Fred attended Skagit College’s technical degree program in Multimedia & Interactive Technology, which helped in starting his own web and print design business. Fred and his wife, Susan, have two daughters who are great students and enjoy participating in athletics. He has been active in coaching basketball and softball through the years and loves spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
Nanette is an integral member of the Terra Firma Wealth Management team, providing strong client service, administration duties, and operational support.
Nanette has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years, after spending the previous 18 years in the legal services field.
Together with husband, Dave, they have two adult children, a son-in-law, two granddaughters, a cat, and a dog. Nanette loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, attending concerts and football games, and volunteering in her community.
